Don’t be afraid to get back up

Fear NotDon’t be afraid to get back up – to try again, to love again, to live again, and to dream again. Don’t let a hard lesson harden your heart. Life’s best lessons are often learned at the worst times and from the worst mistakes. There will be times when it seems like everything that could possibly go wrong is going wrong. And you might feel like you will be stuck in this rut forever, but you won’t. When you feel like quitting, remember that sometimes things have to go very wrong before they can be right. Sometimes you have to go through the worst, to arrive at your best. God Bless!

Happy Friday Everyone! Make it a great day! 😀

Change yourself

Image

Work on changing yourself. There may be times in life when you won’t know what’s ahead, and you can’t control the situations that life throws you in. At the end of the day, despite what happens to you…what matters most is what happens in you.

Make it your business to stay positive and focused on what you see as the best possible outcome for your life. Do the inner work that will help you to maintain a positive attitude, a stronger faith and courage for the road ahead. Remember that miracles are always possible and are waiting for you to discover them. You have GREATNESS within you! — Les Brown

Happy Monday everyone! Make it a great one! #bethechange #staypositive

Breathe. Inhale. Exhale.

“DON’T LET THE WORLD CHANGE YOUR SMILE; LET YOUR SMILE CHANGE THE WORLD”
DonNamaste’t let this world make you bitter. Don’t let the actions of other people turn you cold on the inside. Certain things happen that hurt us, people come that leave us, and most of all there are moments when you’re bound to fall. Don’t let those things make you unkind. It’s okay to cry. It’s okay to be sad. But it’s never okay to do other people wrong just because you were done wrong. We’re human. We break. We make mistakes. But don’t let pain and sadness run your life.
Wake up in the morning and do what you think is right. There are moments in your life where you feel like giving up and you can’t take it anymore. It’s okay. Breathe. Inhale. Exhale. But the things that show your weak side are also the same ones that make you stronger in the long run. It’s all about taking whatever life throws at you and learning from it.  Namaste!

This is a story about YOU

The Power of YOU!
??? are blessed every day, because every day ??? wake up and have the opportunity to write a new page in the story of ???. Every day, ??? can choose whether ??? will continue down the same path or blaze a new trail. Right NOW! This very moment! ??? can change your life. There will never be a better moment to take a stand, do what matters most and change the direction your life is heading.

Don’t get me wrong, there are many unknowns too; many bumps in the road and many things that you have no control over. You really don’t know what will happen tomorrow and you can’t control the circumstances or many of the events that will take place. And for the most part, you could occupy your life worrying about these things that you don’t have control over.  Or you can just focus on the things you can control.

Your ATTITUDE will compromise your ALTITUDE!

Image

You can’t say enough about one’s attitude. With a positive one, you can accomplish and reach all of your dreams. With a negative one, you will make every excuse in the book why you can’t do or be something.

It’s always been your ATTITUDE that will compromise your ALTITUDE! Remember that. ~Tyrese Gibson

What will you change today, now that you know this? What will you do today to increase your altitude? Will you compromise or will you reach for the stars? You can do it, I know you can! So get out there and DO IT! Make it a great day!

Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions

Mark Twain Quote
“Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that but the really great make you feel that you too can become great. When you are seeking to bring big plans to fruition it is important with whom you regularly associate. Hang out with friends who are like-minded and who are also designing purpose-filled lives. Similarly be that kind of a friend for your friends.” ― Mark Twain

Believe in yourself

Believe in Yourself You need to believe in yourself! Don’t wait for tomorrow; do it right now! It may be hard and you might be down. You don’t have to be up, to look up. In fact it’s much easier to look up when you’re down. Don’t allow yourself to be overwhelmed by your past failures even if you’re surrounded by negativity. None of these things will improve your life. Do not give yourself permission to feel sorry for yourself, or give up your power and feel helpless.

The only person who can pull me down is myself, and I’m not going to let myself pull me down anymore.  ― C. JoyBell C.

I want you to start right now! Do whatever it takes to move your life forward. You can do it! Stay focused and keep your eyes on the prize! It will take everything you have to do it. If you believe in yourself, you can do it! Forget about your failures and all of the challenges that you are facing right now. Now is the time for you to believe in yourself! You can make it happen!

What will Your Comeback Story Be!

Image

Why do we love a comeback story? Great sports moments like the 2004 Red Sox winning the World Series. Coming from behind, down 0-3 to the famous New York Yankees. The “curse of the Bambino” was alive and well; or at least it seemed. But the story didn’t end as planned; at least not for the Yankees. The Red Sox would come back and win the next four games, defy the odds and go on to win the World Series.  Even Hollywood loves comeback stories. We love stories about guys named Rocky and Maximus. We love reading how the media counted out Martha Stewart and she came back stronger than ever.

So what is it about the comeback story that ignites the human spirit in each and every one of us? Just like a sports team that is facing an opponent with what appears to be an insurmountable lead, something has to happen to ignite a spark and shift the momentum in their favor. Is it because we love the underdog or is it because we personalize the story and put ourselves in it? Our own failures our own defeats. We’re down but not out. Beat up but not given up. We root and cheer; here they come and with them, here WE come!

It doesn’t matter how old you are or how young, how wealthy or how poor, where you went to college or if you didn’t finish high school. Each and every one of us, has been knocked down. Possibly, each and every one of us has been counted out. We’ve all felt what it’s like to lose something or someone. The pain, the suffering; the agony of defeat. Whether it be a personal loss like an injury or accident or maybe even a personal relationship or marriage that is going through rocky times.

Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve. ~Napoleon Hill

There are so many challenges, so many barriers that we have to overcome. Two obvious ones are the mental barriers and the physical barriers. Most likely the most difficult of these is the mental one. In Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill, after interviewing some of the most wealthy and influential entrepreneurs of our time said, that the secret to their success was first visualizing in their mind, that they were already successful. Seeing themselves winning the prize and achieving their goals. One of my favorite quotes is, “Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” WOW! Talk about powerful! If you haven’t read it, you should add it to your reading list.

Henry Ford said it a little differently, but basically the same message, “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t–you’re right.” Basically, if we think we can do something in our mind, our body and our surroundings will perform the actions necessary to make it so. It doesn’t know any better than to complete them because mentally we’ve already done it. Once we overcome the mental barriers, we also have to deal with the physical barriers. But it does get easier. Be it a physical limitation or someone or something trying to hold us back. The task at hand seems insurmountable. We want to give up, we want to quit. But something inside us won’t let us.

Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t–you’re right. ~Henry Ford

Abraham Lincoln is one of my favorite Presidents. ImageHe grew up in meager circumstances, failed at business twice and had what most would call a nervous breakdown. He lost when he ran for Congress, lost twice when he ran for the Senate and lost as a vice presidential candidate. Lincoln was then elected the 16th president of the United States, led the country to reconciliation and won re-election. His leadership acumen, political skill and outstanding speeches all contributed to his amazing comeback.

So how do they do it? How do we do it? Where does their drive and inspiration come from? Where does ours? Where do we get that “spark”? Maybe its attitude or maybe it’s a lucky break or timing. Maybe it’s a feeling of wanting to win or so tired of losing that they make the mental and physical leap that drives a new behavior. Whatever the situation we find ourselves in, there will come that defining moment in our lives; that instance when we realize that we want to win more than anything. That we’ve had enough of the status quo and we just don’t want to lose anymore. We’ll take that first step towards a mental or behavior change. It seems as though, once we do, once we start that initial push or inertia will soon build into momentum and carry us toward our goals and dreams. Like a small snowball dropped from a mountain; it will build up into an avalanche.

So find that spark! Find that small snowball that will push you to break through that barrier that might be holding you back. Have a never quit, never say die attitude. It’s what drives many of us. I know personally it’s what drives me. Believe in your mind that you can do it. See your success happening, see yourself crossing the finish line and see yourself winning! You can do it!

What are your excuses? How will you overcome them? YOU can and YOU will! What will your comeback story be?

I think YOU are amazing!

I think you are amazingHey YOU! Yes YOU! Stop being unhappy with yourself. You are perfect just the way you are. Stop wishing you liked someone else, or wishing people liked you as much as they like someone else. Stop trying to be someone else. BE YOU! You don’t need the attention from those who hurt you. Stop hating your body, your face, your personality and your quirks. Love them. Love ALL your imperfections. Without those things you wouldn’t be YOU! And, why would you want to be anyone else anyways? Be confident with who you are. SMILE! It’ll draw people in. If anyone doesn’t like you because you are happy with yourself, then they can go you know where! Say to yourself, “Your happiness will not be dependent on anyone else anymore.” Life is TOO short to be perfect. Remember, LOVE your imperfections, they make you, YOU! And, your flaws are what make you so different and so beautiful. So, be YOU! Because, YOU ARE PRETTY AMAZING!!!

Love and hugs to you all! Make it a great day! 🙂

Learn – Live – Hope

Learn Live Hope

Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning

-Albert Einstein

Learn from Yesterday: Every mistake, every failure you’ve made has taken you to where you are today. You can think of them as stone walls that have prevented you from getting where you want to go or you can make them a stone staircase that will take you to your higher self. Never let the fear of failure stop you from reaching your true potential.

Live for Today: This is so important because if you do not do this, then what’s the point. Learn from your past but LIVE for today! Carpe Diem! Seize the Day! Take risks, make mistakes and enjoy he moment; even the bad ones. Never, ever, let anyone limit your true potential.

Hope for Tomorrow: Create and set goals for yourself. This is important; write them down! Carry them with you and work on them every day. Dream BIG! Follow your dreams, no matter how crazy they may seem right now. Don’t let anyone, not even yourself, discourage you from achieving your dreams. Work effortlessly to achieve those goals and dreams and NEVER QUIT!

Carpe Diem! Seize the Day!
